World of Warcraft Item Upgrade and Set Bonuses
The item upgrade is an enchantment that boosts the base stats of specific armor or weapons. This includes tertiary stats like Leech or Speed.
A special evolution item that allows Porygon to evolve into Porygon2. This item is available at Pokestops or Gyms.
Universal upgrades are able to be used on any type of gear and offer less benefits than other components that are equipment-type specific.
Leveling
Upgrades allow players to upgrade their items by increasing their levels. The item's "guaranteed bonuses" are also enhanced by the level increase. Every level increase increases a stat on the item by 3 and also adds an additional bonus that is based on the tier of the item. These extras range from a +3 bonus, to a +1 bonus or an unspecified buff.
Each item is limited to a particular amount of upgrades. However, after an upgrade the item is able to be re-transferred into a higher-tiered item that is of equal or greater value.
This system is extremely useful for players who wish to obtain gear with a certain level of stats before having the chance to purchase an item that is new. The transfer system is easy to use and allows players to avoid wasting upgrading materials.
Upgrade materials are gathered when the player clears their cache of content. They are used to improve or replace an item. Each item requires a distinct kind of upgrade material. Weapons require Destruction stones, while armor items require Guardian or Harmony Leapstones. The materials are named after when the item is upgraded, such as Stone Fragments become Stones and Harmony Shards become Life Shards.
The upgrade of an item is crucial for enhancing the performance of a character, but it is important to take into consideration the cost of doing so prior to making any changes. The cost of upgrading an item can be a lot of gold that could be better spent on new gear. This cost is the reason why it is advisable to only upgrade the most necessary items in any given situation.
This means upgrading the weapon, then the legs, chest and helm. If the player can afford it upgrading trinkets must be done at this point to maximize their potential to trigger. For example, a high-end Throne of Thunder trinket may be worth upgrading to get more damage that its procs can bring. However, some trinkets should not be upgraded unless they can provide a significant upgrade in a specific build. This is particularly the case for breakpoint gear that is used to increase stats like IAS or FHR.
Rerolling
Rerolling is a method that lets players alter stats on a weapon, rings or armor based on the type of item. It can be used to replace bonuses or add new ones. It can also be used to change the item's power base.
Rerolling is an excellent way to boost your strength in the initial stages however it's not required. Once you reach the level 6 upgrade goal, it is usually better to reroll and find the best upgrades you can or save money to buy the next set of items. This will ensure that you have a solid roster at the time you reach your level 9 upgrade goal.
The rerolling process is very similar to the level-up system. Reroll tokens can be used to take away any Level Up option and replace it with another. However, unlike Level Up, reroll tokens don't reset the item's level. This means that if you reroll a upgraded item, it won't be at the same level and will not have its bonus.
Players can also use an additional mechanic, Eliminate, to remove any Level Up option they have on their weapons or equipment. This is useful when you've had a bad gacha or you wish to roll a five-star unit. To do this, you'll need to create an account from scratch or sign in via social media.
Similarly, there is an Occultist in every town that can be visited to alter a weapon's or armor's Aspects, stats, or attributes. This is helpful if you have an epic five-star unit that you would like to improve or an elite four-star character you're struggling with.
Rerolling tokens are available by completing certain quests. These can be bought from the Occultist at 300 gold or found in holozons that are dropped in certain dungeons. You can then reroll any weapon, armor, or ring by moving the icon with the lock on it to the desired slot on your unit's page.
Sets
A set is a collection of things that share some similarity. Sets are utilized every day. For example, a dozen eggs or group of friends. They are helpful for organizing things and using operations such as intersection, union and differences to manage them effectively. Sets can be used in a variety of different ways, from arranging music on a playlist to classifying students by their grades.
In Nioh the game, Sets are used to create special effects when players wear pieces of a set of armor. These bonuses are known as Set Bonuses, and they are superior to Effects. While it's not explained in-universe why the armor sets need to be worn together to produce these additional effects, they can provide some variety when playing the game. The armor sets with Set Bonuses can be found many locations in Hyrule including the Dark Moon Temple and Twilight Temple.
Each piece of equipment included in a Set includes a set of Set Bonuses associated with it. item upgrader can determine which ones are available by hovering over the item and looking at the tooltip, near the bottom. The Set Bonuses will appear in the form of a red box.
Certain Set Bonuses are only available to a particular piece of equipment. If you have the complete Phantom Armor set, you will receive +8 defense (instead of the 3 defense that you receive with the majority of gear). Certain sets can only be obtained by completing certain tasks, or by purchasing them from the Auction House.
It is also possible to get Set Bonuses on multiple pieces of equipment simultaneously. For instance, if own the entire Kestra's Descent set and the parts that match from the Twinblade of Shadow you will receive the + version of the set's bonus if you soul match it.
Set Bonuses are the same, regardless of the equipment to which they are connected is upgraded. If an item is exemplarized too low, then the set bonus won't work.
Set bonuses
Set bonuses are special effects that can appear on a set of equipment that grants a bonus in battle. They grant a specific amount of a certain type of stat, for example damage to weapons, defenses, or even resistances. However, they cannot stack; only one will be active at any one time. The amount of a stat is determined by the number of pieces in the set. For instance, you can have four weapons and three chests, but only one of them will be beneficial.
In general, they increase the primary stats of a piece, but they can also boost secondary stats also. Defense bonuses boost three defensive positions and two typed defenses such as, for instance a complete five-piece set of Hundings Rage will add up to around 400 defenses in your gear. This is a huge increase in your gear, especially as melee characters.
This is a very useful feature, and it is believed to be among the most popular features in the game. At present, only a handful of gear sets have set bonuses, and they're only available in the Test Realm, but expect this number to increase once the update is live. For instance, the popular 7 school-specific Dragoon's gear will be getting its bonus added as soon as the update is live.
While Set Bonuses don't stack within the same set, they can stack with other sets. This is ideal for players that want to use the most efficient combination of sets. It does require some planning. Since set bonuses only affect the shell of an equipment (not the armoring, mod or enhancement) It is important to be aware of where you place them.
It is important to note that the strength of a set's bonus will not change regardless of whether your exemplar level is higher than three levels below the minimum required for an enhancement. This rule does not apply to Purple (Very rare) Sets PvP Sets, Sets for PvP and Archetype Origin Sets. Their set bonuses will be in effect regardless of the exemplar level.
